It has been one week since one of the most perfect days of my life. April 6th, 2019, the day I married my best friend for the second time.

Trisha and I have known each other for almost 10 years. One decade. 3650 days. 521 weeks. 119 months. 5256004 minutes.

One third of my life, so far.

We first got married on November, 2018 in India. It was an amazing experience—one that introduced me to Trisha's culture, her family, and her childhood home. We reveled and danced, and celebrated with reckless abandon, before traveling across Rajasthan.

Our trip ended in Udaipur, a lakeside city that I would love to return to someday.

But back to last weekend.

The weather forecast leading up to our big day called called for cloudy weather, and the ever-present threat of rain. But when we woke up, the sun was shining, and it was a beautiful day on the coast in Laguna Beach, California. The wedding went off without a hitch, surround by our friends and family. The room was electric, we were high on life, and when the time came for us to share our handwritten vows and place our rings on each others fingers, the gravity of it all hit me.

We were married. This. Us. "I Do." Forever, and always. My best friend is now my wife. I can't wait to see where life takes us together.
